Some believe that the biblical tale of the Star of Bethlehem could have been a planetary conjunction. But around 2000 years ago, Venus and Jupiter were the closest.
So we have a different conjunction this time, but maybe the wise men did see a planetary conjunction, and that truly would have been a sight to behold...
