Solar Eclipse Excitement Heightening

 Finally, at last,

something that will peel our faces off smartphone screens…

A digital pause, 

 for pause and awe

When the moon cloaks the sun in a shade of black that I have

never seen?

And stories of a wondrous silver wreath, a shimmering, yet textured, bright silver ring.

Maybe just the place where the “burning ones with wings,” gather and sing (Seraphim)…
