Prelude to a Supernova

An image that may spark,

a million meditations
that come with revelations
and a cosmic proclamation
        
"Incarnation from transformation"

When stars go Supernova, they forge and explode heavy elements like gold, uranium, iron, and oxygen out into space. These elements are essential for rocky planets  and life as we know it.  And Supernovae often play a critical role in star formation. Indeed, Supernovae deliver life out of death.

While we are earthbound, the James Webb Space Telescope keeps us spellbound.
In just over a few years, JWST is capturing images that date back within 280 million years after The Big Bang. 


This is JWST's first deep field image of the universe. A galaxy cluster that contains galaxies less than a billion years old - in a universe that's about 13.8 billion years old.
